Saw IV Review

Review!
Saw IV
Director-Darren Lynn Bousman
Genre-Crime/Horror/Thriller
Released-26th October 2007
Went to see SAW IV the day of its release, the movie in my opinion was pretty good, alot of stuff was shown in a short space of time, if the movie was given alot more suspence then it would be possibly a 3 hour long + movie. I dont want to spoil the movie for those who have not seen it yet but there was alot of stuff from all other SAW movies thrown into the mix and it just explains alot of things about the past and how Jigsaws work got started. I had a prediction about the movie and i was wrong about it but its important to keep following the movie all the way through and think fast about who you see even though there is flashes of the past, so no toilet breaks through the movie or else you will miss everything, i will be buying this movie again when its released and keep building my collection of SAW movies, now all there is to do is wait for SAW V to be released, so thats another year...but as Jigsaw said..."You think it is over when it has only just began"

Who am i?

This is...Michael Pitt
I am Michael Pitt, Born in Aberdeen Scotland on 17th of July 1989. I am doing a NC Computing Course in Aberdeen College, It is going pretty well so far, the work is easy enough to follow along with the people in the class. A bit crazy but who isnt nowadays. I chose this course because this was the first course i thought about doing for a while next to do music and i decided to do this instead of music just because i havent been taught much about music in secondary school. My hopes and fears for the next coming years are...well i guess we just have to wait and find out what is behind the corner before we say anything.
My long term goals in life is to be just happy with what i am doing and not feel like i'm struggling with life, make it laid back and easy. I'm not too bothered if i'm stuck in Aberdeen for the rest of my life aslong as i can be happy. For the short time goals is basicly just keep my music/guitar work going and not giving up, not saying i'm going to be a big rockstar! aslong as i can have fun with music thats all that matters and i have my mates who i have fun with when playing music.
Well we've established that one of my hobbies is guitar, I own a ESP F-50 guitar hopefully upgrading to a F-250 oncei have the cash, also own an Ibanez EX which i recently bought but needs to be repaired (thats gonna cost me!!!!!)
I'm also a big fan of movies, i have a big collection at home.Anything from Stand up comedy to horrors are brilliant. zombie movies are amazing aswell as movies like Pulp Fiction, Blade, Hot Fuzz and so on.
I do have other interests like Chinese/Japanese art, i have a few samauri swords at home which people think is just weird but i think it just looks cool sitting there on the table at home.

Collaborative Writing

Before

As I stood infront of the mirror wearing my dark clothes and holding my gun...I stopped to think...Is this really what I want to do?
Will doing this solve everything?
Does justice need to be served?
...
Too many questions but no answers, i stood there for a good 5 minutes staring a hole right through myself. I start to get withdrawl symptoms from the drugs, i take out a packet of cigarettes...none left...damn...
My hands begin to shake as i stare at myself in the mirror for the last time before i throw the gun at the mirror as it smashes into millions of pieces i fall down to my knees and cry...This dissastifying feeling is not what i wanted to have...i cannot let myself break down....too little too late...

Guitar Lesson!

Simple lesson of the CAGED system

This is a short and simple lesson for beginners on guitar, You may start and look at the "Guitar books for beginners" and it will show you countless lessons on chords when you just want to skip that stuff and ROCK!!

Easy way to skip the annoying chords you feel obliged to learn at the start is simple, You learn 5 chords. C-A-G-E-D, Now these shapes have a distinct shape in them and that if your barre the chord up to the next fret you get a new chord sound, and you can do it with each Chord and you will be able to play alot of different sounds and through time it will become 2nd nature to you.

Barring a chord is simple, all you do is, the fingers that you are using to get your chord...move it up 1 fret and the strings that werent being held down ie. Open strings, place your index finger across the next fret covering all the strings.

The O means its an open string. Open strings are strings not being played, so if you need to barre them, place your index finger across each string on the 1st fret. If you continue moving your fingers up 1 fret at a time you get a new chord sound.
The X's mean you do not play that string

Here are a the diagrams for each chord in the CAGED system.

A Chord
G Chord

Horror Classics

SAW IV

There are so many great horror sequals in the the film industry. Films such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th, Halloween, Hellraiser and so on. These films now are known as classic horror sets. The next horror set that i think will be known as a classic in 20 years time is the SAW movies.

With the release of Saw 4 coming to cinemas on October 26th its surely a questionable idea. Not many people thought they could make more SAW films after the 2nd one but then 3 came out and now 4. But wait for it.......yes its already been comfirmed that SAW 5 is in the works and set for a release date of possibly October 2008 or 2009, also...They have signed a deal to make a SAW 6 aswell!!

Are they taking this a bit too far?? maybe so but people will still go see these movies just to see what the whole story is about. 2 weeks on friday i will check out Saw 4 in the cinema and if it is good...then come on SAW 5!!!! but if it is bad then hmmm this could be a big money loss.

Either way the SAW collection will be known in 20 years time as a great horror collection and a classic for its time.

Are horror movies the greatest works of the film industry?

All for laughs

Comedy
Comedy plays a major part in our lives, it makes us laugh everytime and realise how silly some things in the world can be including celebrities, politics, anything in the world that is in our daily lives these comedians notice them and exploit them in the funniest possible way.
Comedians such as Lee Evans, Robin Williams(the actor not singer folks!), Chris Rock, Bill Bailey, Peter Kay, Martin Lawrence, and so on, These are some of the biggest comedians going today but we all still enjoy classic comedians like Billy Connely.
Comedy can be delivered in many forms, either in a "attempted" acting for example Lee Evans when he provides acting to add more effect to his jokes. Here is a video displaying that technique:

Another way of delivering comedy can be in a musical form which the "wizard of comedy" Bill Bailey, here is a video demonstrating his "skills":

The most important thing in comedy is how you deliver a joke or a fact of life, The way you deliver it is done extremely well by Chris Rock, impersonating people and making fun of them doing really stupid things like Janet Jackson at the SuperBowl. Heres a video of him in action:

Watching the Radio

Radio 1

Radio 1 has been one of the longest running radio station of all time! From broadcasting from the early 1900's radio one has had alot of controversy surrounding it. Through the "pirate broadcasting" age which was illegal broadcasting from boats in the sea which Tony Blackburn was a part of during that time before they were able to publicly do radio shows legally which was also due to the impact of the 60's era which changed the world musically and politically. That was the dawn of the new era and we have learned so much from then, Radio 1 today still provides us with the most upto date popular music from hosts such as Chris Moyles and Jo Whiley but they claim that there name wont be put down in some sort of "hall of fame" because Radio 1 will go on for a long time after there dead and gone.

Personally i'm not much of a radio person but i have respect for peopel who enjoy listening to the radio mainly at work or in school because we all need that background noise that keeps us up to date with the world even if we seem to busy to realise what is going on.

Radio 1 provides us with the most upto date news and music and keeps us entertained.
